Since the start of the pandemic, Stadium Tours have been suspended due to COVID guideline restrictions - until now! Scottish Rugby is delighted to announce that BT Murrayfield Stadium Tours will start again from Monday 2 May. Tickets for Stadium Tours can be booked from scottishrugbytickets.com now.
Public guided tours run twice daily, Monday-Saturday, at 11am and at 2:30pm. The tour will last approximately 90 minutes and is subject to availability.
Visitors must book their guided tour in advance to attend. Tickets can be purchased online where you can see all prices and availability for upcoming tours.
You can also purchase gift vouchers through the online ticket centre. For information on our Stadium Tours Gift Vouchers, please visit Stadium Tour Gift Vouchers.
The date I want to visit doesn’t show online, how can I book a tour?
Tickets for our Stadium Tours are usually available around a month in advance. If your preferred date isn’t showing yet, please keep checking the website.
Tours do not run on the lead up to, or on event days so there may be select dates that are not available. If you have any questions please contact us.
Please note all Stadium Tour bookings are subject to availability. As tours have not been operational over the last 2 years, we anticipate a large demand on our tours upon re-opening. If your preferred date is unavailable, it may have already reached capacity.
How will I receive my tour ticket?
Your ticket(s) will be sent to the email address that they were booked under. If you have not received your ticket(s) 24 hours prior to your tour start time, please email us at ticket.centre@sru.org.uk for assistance.
Is the Stadium Tour wheelchair accessible?
Stadium tours are wheelchair accessible. If you are a wheelchair user or require assistance, please let us know when you book the tour or make sure you contact us in advance so we can support any required access arrangements.
Where do I go on the day?
Please arrive at the stadium 15 minutes before your tour is scheduled to start.
Access to the stadium is through the main Gatehouse and you will be checked in and out on arrival/departure from the ground. You will be directed to the start point in the Scottish Rugby Store in the West Stand and your tour guide will meet you there.
For guidance on getting to BT Murrayfield please visit: Getting to BT Murrayfield. On a non-match day, parking is available at the stadium.
Is there a baggage store?
BT Murrayfield does not have the facilities to accommodate left luggage during the stadium tour. Therefore we recommend that if you are travelling with large bags you arrange alternative storage of them prior to your visit. Where possible, we ask that you do not bring a bag larger than A5.
I'm running late, what can I do?
Should you be delayed for any reason on the day, we politely request that you get in contact with the Scottish Rugby Store on 0131 346 5044 (9am to 5pm).
Can I book a Private Tour?
If you would like a private guided tour, please email stadiumtours@sru.org.uk for pricing and availability. We recommend one tour guide per 30 people. Larger groups can be accommodated subject to guide availability.
I have a Stadium Tour gift voucher to redeem, how do I book?
Please visit Stadium Tour Gift Vouchers for information on redeeming your voucher. This includes 50% Stadium Tour vouchers for NEVIS/MACDUI memberships.
Am I still eligible for a discount as a NEVIS/MACDUI member in 2020?
Yes. NEVIS and MACDUI members were offered a 50% discount on a Stadium Tour whenever they were re-introduced. These had to be suspended at the start of the pandemic because of COVID guideline restrictions but now that tours have started again, the 50% tour discount still applies. (For those members who have their names displayed on a Supporters Wall in the Players Tunnel will at last have a chance to see them for themselves!) To book your discounted tour, please call 0131 378 1600, 10am-4pm Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday. Please note our phone lines are closed on Wednesdays.
Covid-19 measures
