Can I buy a membership?
No - memberships are now off sale.
How does the membership work?
There are three types of membership. Visit here for more information.
Do the memberships provide access to tickets?
The NEVIS membership provides access to tickets via ballot. Scottish Rugby’s ability to offer tickets for matches is totally dependent on the Scottish Government and their decisions on all public gatherings and events.
Is there a limit to the number tickets I can buy with my membership?
The maximum number of tickets a NEVIS member can apply for is FOUR. If successful, these tickets must be used by the NEVIS member and other people within their household. (The definition of household is to be confirmed but will likely include extended households as defined by the Scottish Government.) Tickets are non-transferable out-with your household, i.e. a NEVIS member cannot buy a membership, enter the ballot and then give his/her tickets to people from another household to attend.
If I buy more than one NEVIS membership, will it improve my chances of success in the ballot?
Only one ballot entry (for up to 4 tickets) is permitted per ticketing account. Therefore whilst you may wish to purchase multiple memberships (and further support Scottish Rugby) you can, however, you will only be able to enter the ballot once. If you wish to enter the ballot multiple times each membership must be assigned to another ticketing account prior to purchase. To find out how to do this visit: Buying multiple tickets via My Network
Because of the Scottish Government’s physical-distancing guidelines the maximum number of tickets we will ever allocate to one household is FOUR (i.e. the maximum number of tickets per membership, per game). This means that if you were to buy two memberships and they were both successful in the ballot, we would need to refund one of the ticket ballot bookings.
I have bought multiple memberships and need to assign these - how do I do it?
Memberships cannot be assigned post purchase unless you contact the Customer Services team directly. Please ensure you have the client references for the memberships you wish to assign and email these along with your lead client reference to: ticket.centre@sru.org.uk
Memberships must be assigned in order to maximise benefits such as applications for ticket ballots and names for the Supporter's Wall. You will only be able to submit one application per account.
Is there a limit to the number of match ballots I can enter?
No. NEVIS members can enter the ballot and apply for tickets to as many games as they want, and there is no limit to the number of games members can attend.
I am a wheelchair user; do I need a membership?
Yes, anyone who wishes access to tickets via the ballot must be a NEVIS member. There will be an option within the ballot application to apply for wheelchair tickets. You only require to purchase one membership as this will permit you to apply for a wheelchair package (wheelchair ticket plus companion ticket and parking pass). If you require to purchase additional tickets for your household or extended household (up to a max of 2) please contact us after you have received confirmation of being successful in the ballot.
I require an accessible seat; do I need a membership?
Yes, anyone who wishes access to tickets via the ballot must be a NEVIS member. Please enter the match ticket ballots as normal. If you are successful, you can contact the ticket office who will try to find a suitable seat for your access needs. Please note that due to the expected limited capacity and physical distancing measures in place, alternative seating to suit may not be possible. If this is the case, a full refund will be honoured.
If I buy the NEVIS membership will I be guaranteed tickets to Scotland matches?
Scottish Rugby’s ability to offer tickets for matches is totally dependent on the Scottish Government and their decisions on all public gatherings and events. Therefore when purchasing the NEVIS membership, you will be given access to apply for tickets via an online ballot. As this is a random ballot (facilitated by Scottish Rugby’s ticketing platform) we cannot guarantee you will secure tickets. Ballots will be run using a randomised online process and may be conducted in line with any additional guidelines or restrictions imposed by the Scottish Government from time to time
Does a Nevis membership give access to ballots for the Guinness Six Nations?
Yes, ballots will be open to Nevis members for tickets to all games to which crowds have been permitted by the Scottish Government (according to their physical-distancing guidelines) during Season 20/21.
I am a Season Pass holder – what happens to my season pass?
All Season Passes for Season 20/21 have been cancelled. We have also written to lead purchasers to advise that Season Passes are safe and you will receive renewal information again early next year for Season 21/22.
-Paid by Direct Debit Auto Renewal:-
You will receive your renewal information early 2021, giving you the opportunity to cancel should you wish. We would urge you to not cancel your Direct Debit if you intend on renewing your Season Pass for 2021/22.
- Paid by Credit / Debit -
If you are not a Debenture holder and paid by card, you will be included in the pre-sale group prior to any public sale. Communication relating to this will be shared early 2021.
Do previous Season Pass holders need to become a NEVIS member to get a ticket?
Whilst the membership is more than just ticket access, it is a priority route to access match tickets through ticket ballots. If you do not wish to purchase a membership then access to any returned tickets (availability dependant) will be during the week of the match and only by visiting our ticketing site.
I have 4 Season Passes, do I need to buy 4 Nevis Memberships?
Each Nevis member will be able to enter one ballot entry for each match, for up to 4 tickets therefore there is no requirement to buy multiple memberships. It is worth noting that at present, tickets should be applied for on the basis that attendees are from one household group or extended bubble.
I received an email saying I can get a discounted NEVIS membership - how do I get the discount?
This offer was only available until Wednesday 30 September. If you wish to buy a membership please visit the online ticket centre.
How will the ticket ballots work?
When the ballot opens, you will be emailed a link to access the ballot. Simply log into your online ticketing account and your NEVIS membership will be linked to the ballot application. Whilst card details are required to enter the ballot, no money will be taken unless your ballot application is successful.
Is there one ballot for each game?
Yes, a separate ballot will be held for each match to which crowds have been permitted by the Scottish Government, according to their physical-distancing guidelines.
If I am successful in one ballot, am I still allowed to enter other ballots?
Yes, you can apply for as many ballots as you wish.
When will I know when the ballot opens?
If/when Scottish Rugby receives notification from the Scottish Government that crowds are permitted, all NEVIS members will be emailed and updated. The ballots are being opened for NEVIS members to allow Scottish Rugby to react quickly to Scottish Government guidelines in the event of crowds being permitted into BT Murrayfield. Although currently unable to confirm whether the Scottish Government will permit crowds at the Guinness Six Nations games, Scottish Rugby must still prepare for such an eventuality. The situation changes on a daily basis and it’s possible that if permission is granted, it could be given at short notice. For this reason, we will open the ballots for NEVIS members to apply for tickets to ensure we’re ready to operate a fully ticketed international match if/when we are given the go-ahead by the Scottish Government. These ballots will only be drawn if/when such approval is granted.
When will the pricing be confirmed?
Pricing will be available in advance of ballot applications opening so you have the most up to date information prior to applying for tickets. Check the ballot instructions page for the most up to date pricing.
Because of physical-distancing guidelines it hasn’t been possible to retain the four categories of ticket (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) that you have become used to over the last few years.
There are two price categories and tickets will be sold on a ‘General Admission’ basis, meaning at present we are unable to offer concessionary tickets. We are keeping this under constant review and will introduce concession pricing as soon as practical and subject to Government restrictions allowing crowds to return in greater numbers. Scottish Rugby holds a proud tradition of affordable pricing which has contributed to a record 15 sell-outs of BT Murrayfield in recent seasons and we have every intention of returning to our full range of ticket options as soon as is practical.
How will I find out if I have been successful?
NEVIS Members will be notified of the outcome of the ballot by email within five (5) working days of ballot being run. All ballots will be conducted no later than 48 hours prior to the match.
After finding out I am unsuccessful; is there a chance I could access any returned tickets?
Yes, any returned tickets will be made available initially to unsuccessful ballot applicants and then to other Membership Groups (i.e. MACDUI/ LOMOND) followed by the general public during match week.
If crowds are permitted at the Guinness Six Nations, when and how will tickets be available?
Everyone who buys the Level 1 (NEVIS) membership will be invited to enter the ticket ballots for every game at BT Murrayfield this season. Currently, this means potentially three games in the Guinness Six Nations. As soon as the Scottish Government confirms its decision around spectator entry and stadium capacity limit for any game, Scottish Rugby will email all NEVIS members with details of the ticket ballot for that match. NEVIS members will then have the opportunity to enter the ballot and specify how many tickets they want to apply for, to a maximum to four per member, per game). It may be that ballots are opened and you can apply in advance of a decision from the Government on crowds, however, the ballot will only be run if a crowd is confirmed. No money will be taken until a crowd is confirmed and the ballot is run.
How much will match tickets be?
Ticket pricing for individual matches is yet to be confirmed, however, this information will be available to consider before applying for the ballot.
Will I be able to buy tickets for Scotland’s away games?
No. All tickets during this season’s limited capacity games will be distributed to home crowds.
Who decides if spectators are allowed in to watch the games?
The decision will be down to the Scottish Government, however, we continue to work closely with them on planning for the Scotland internationals
If crowds are not permitted to the games, will I get a refund on my Nevis membership?
There will be no refunds on the NEVIS membership. The reason we are asking supporters to “Sign Up For Scotland” is because the game needs your help. The impact the Covid-19 pandemic is having on Scottish Rugby’s finances, and on the game as a whole in Scotland, is significant. The game’s closure over the last six months has directly impacted our three main income streams from ticketing, broadcast and sponsorship. As the governing body with responsibility for the sport in Scotland it is our remit to grow and support the game, and this support starts with the clubs. In the last five years Scottish Rugby has reinvested over £14.5m into the club game. However, the majority of our income is generated by the international game, and so to be in a position to continue with this level of investment in the wider game in Scotland, the importance of the forthcoming international season cannot be overstated. We fully appreciate that in these challenging times, not all supporters will be able to help the game in this way, and for this reason we are ensuring any available “returned” tickets will be made available to the wider public in the week before each game.
If crowds are permitted at BT Murrayfield, how many seats are likely to be available?
This depends on the Scottish Government’s physical distancing guidelines. Stadium configurations have been generated based on several physical-distancing models and the number of seats can only be confirmed when government guidelines allow.
Where will I be seated? (i.e. which stands/sections of BT Murrayfield will be in use?)
This depends on the physical distancing guidelines. Stadium configurations have been generated based on several physical-distancing models and the number of seats can only be confirmed when government guidelines allow. When the ballot is run you will be allocated seats automatically therefore, we are unable to take request for specific seats.
When will you know if crowds are permitted at the Autumn Nations Cup?
It has now been confirmed that the Autumn Nations Cup matches will be played behind closed doors.
With the COVID-19 pandemic still affecting many aspects of public life in Scotland the move by the Scottish Government to a new tiered level of restrictions on travel and households meetings across the country means it will not be possible to host spectators at BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh for the Autumn Nations Cup in November.
Members who have entered the ballot have been sent an email update. Ballot applications will be cancelled and no payment will be taken for these.
When will you know if crowds are permitted at the Guinness 6 Nations?
To comply with the current Scottish Government public health guidance in relation to Covid-19, Scottish Rugby can confirm its Guinness Six Nations fixture against Wales on Saturday 13 February at BT Murrayfield will be played behind closed doors.
All NEVIS members that applied for match tickets for this game via the ticket ballot have been informed directly by email. For Debenture Holders who have submitted paper application forms, these have not been processed and no payments have been collected.
How will I receive my ticket?
Because of the expected short turnaround between the Scottish Government’s decision on permitting crowds and any ballot being run, match tickets for this season’s game will be digital only: either print-at-home, or downloadable to your mobile.
I am a Scotland Supporters Club member, will I still get access to tickets?
All Scotland Supporters Club memberships have been suspended as we are unable to fulfil ticket and team-related rights and benefits. All members have been contacted about what options are open to them.
