Please note the below information is only relevant on match days at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
We operate an Accessible Shuttle service for Rugby matches here at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
This service is available to any ticket holder with access requirements who may benefit from additional support to their seats upon arrival at the stadium.
Please note, the shuttle is unable to accommodate wheelchairs or mobility scooters on board. For more information on wheelchair storage at the stadium, please speak with a member of the team.
The shuttle can accommodate up to 4 guests at one time, and we do ask that anybody accompanying accessible guests, who does not require the use of the buggy, walk beside the buggy to their intended drop-off point.
Shuttle route
Please see below for information on each of the five stops during the route, and what you can access from each stop:
On arrival at the venue
- If you require use of our accessible shuttle, a member of our Accessibility team will be happy to assist you.
- There may be a wait time for this service of up to 30 minutes. The team will be able to advise of the expected wait time when you arrive.
- You can board the shuttle at either of our main accessible entrances once you have been scanned into the ground. These are at the Gatehouse (War Memorial gate, W3W:equal.pass.blank) or the North Turnstiles (W3W: wounds.steer.jelly). Please note these are the only two pick-up points on arrival and you will not be able to board the shuttle at any other stop along the route ahead of the match.
- A member of our support team will be on the shuttle at all times to assist with wayfinding and any queries you may have.
- When checking-in for the accessible shuttle, you will be asked your name and seat details, so that we can know where you will need picked up after the match.
Leaving the venue
- After the match, there will be a delay of approximately 30-40 minutes before we can resume the service while we wait for crowds to disperse.
- We expect a high demand for the service therefore there may be wait times of up to 1 hour while we safely assist fans out of the stadium.
- The shuttle will service the 3 stops (South, South West, West) that were drop-off locations for arrival, so please make sure to take note of your stop and return to this location if you wish to be picked up at the end of the night.
- If you did not use the shuttle service to get to your seat on arrival but require using it to exit the stadium, please make your way to the nearest stop as indicated on the map above and a member of the team will be happy to assist where possible.
Safety Information
- Keep your arms and legs in the buggy at all times
- Do not attempt to get on or off the shuttle when it is moving
- Do not distract the driver when the buggy is moving
- Should you have any issues please make the support team member aware
- This service is for accessible guests only. Anyone who may require medical support should make their nearest steward or team member aware.
