Understanding that young people can be inspired through sport, Scottish Rugby has been offering clubs, schools and other youth groups special discounted rates and incentives for many years. Rugby is a game with special values that can transfer into young people’s everyday lives - Leadership, Enjoyment, Achievement, Engagement, Respect – and we believe bringing a children’s group to support Scotland at BT Murrayfield is the best, easiest and most affordable way to allow young people to experience these values – and watch thrilling international rugby – in a safe and friendly environment.
Scottish Rugby continue to offer very competitive prices with the offer including the first two adult tickets free of charge and further discounted adult tickets, to encourage chaperones to accompany as many children as possible.

What is the process?
We write to clubs, schools and other youth groups every summer with details of the following season’s Groups & Schools Offer together with a Booking Form. The specific offers change each season depending on the fixtures, dates and kick-off times, but as an example this season there was minimum group size of ten (eight children and two adults) and to thank and reward adult organisers for their time and effort, the first two tickets for adult chaperones were FREE, with tickets for under-18s starting at only £5. Once the deadline for application forms has passed, Scottish Rugby inform groups whether their applications have been successful and, if so, a request for full payment will then be made, with a deadline for all balances to be settled.

Is there a limit for the number of games or tickets a school can attend with the Groups & Schools Offer?
We actively encourage Youth Groups & Schools to attend as many events as possible and will always endeavour to accommodate applications. Events vary in demand therefore it may be that capacities have to be set and applications reviewed before confirmation can be provided.
Because the focus of this offer is to enable as many children as possible to watch live, professional rugby, we will always prioritise the number of child tickets requested and the necessary chaperones in order to escort the group. In the event a game is oversubscribed, additional adult tickets may be reduced in order to honour as many child tickets as possible.
