Scottish Rugby has over the years issued a series of Debentures. Whilst the rights and benefits associated with each type of Debenture vary, the Debenture holder generally receives the right to purchase match tickets in return for their investment. For full details of the benefits of holding a Debenture, Debentures holders are advised to refer to the documentation issued with their Debenture.
What does my Debenture entitle me to?
Murrayfield Debenture Holders are entitled to apply for tickets for their designated seat for each International match played at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in the Six Nations Series. For other games, where Scottish Rugby maintain direct control over ticket allocations (e.g. Autumn Tests) Murrayfield Debenture Holders will get access to a pre-sale to purchase in advance of tickets being released for public sale.
Irredeemable Debenture Holders are entitled to purchase two tickets per Debenture for each International match played at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. These will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis in the West Stand. (Platinum and Gold seats are located within this area.) As tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, if you choose Platinum seats and they are already sold out at the time of booking, you will be allocated the best available in Gold and informed of this change.
Is parking included?
For every four 'C' Class Debentures owned, a car park pass can be provided free of charge. If you are unsure which class of Debenture you hold, please contact us on 0131 378 1600 or email ticket.centre@sru.org.uk. Public car parking availability varies from game to game. Please check scottishrugbytickets.com to check availability.
Is hospitality included?
Murrayfield “C” and “D - Thistle” Debenture holders are offered the opportunity to purchase the official debenture hospitality packages at all games. Packages, which usually start around three hours before kick-off and finish an hour after the final whistle, generally include a three-course meal, drinks before and after the game and food post-match.

Can I sell or gift my tickets?
Tickets can be gifted or transferred at face value only. In line with Scottish Rugby’s Ticketing Terms and Conditions, tickets must not be transferred or sold (or offered for transfer or sale) through any secondary ticketing service provider, auction site or website. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions will result in sanctions being imposed by Scottish Rugby on the person to whom the original ticket[s] were sold. Visit Terms and Conditions for more information.
Am I entitled to my seat for concerts and other events?
Debenture holders are not guaranteed tickets for concerts or other events held at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. In other situations, where Scottish Rugby maintain direct control over ticket allocations, Debenture Holders will be able to apply for a ticket within a time limit detailed at the time.
What should I do if I have lost my Debenture certificate

How do I notify you of a change of address?
As your Debenture is a legal document, Scottish Rugby need to receive any requests in writing. You can e-mail ticket.centre@sru.org.uk with your old and new address. Alternatively, you can send a letter to Ticket Centre, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, EH12 5PJ.
How do I sell my Debenture?
Speirs & Jeffrey, the broker which previously provided a service matching buyers and sellers of Scottish Rugby Debentures, was sold to Rathbone Brothers last year. Unfortunately, they are no longer able to replicate this service provision within the Rathbones Group, and so ceased to provide this service from 15 June 2019.
This service is an activity regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and one which Scottish Rugby is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to conduct. Therefore, any future matching of buyers and sellers of Scottish Rugby Debentures will need to be done privately between individuals. Public auction sites are often used for sales and can be checked for availability.
Once the sale of a debenture has been privately agreed, please contact Scottish Rugby at debentures@sru.org.uk.
